Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Draft for review. This is a first-pass policy, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified solicitor and complete every [TO CONFIRM] item before relying on it.

Who we are

This policy explains how Velox Parking (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you book or enquire about our airport parking. We are the data controller. We are Velox Group Ltd, trading as Velox Parking (company no. 17292105), registered office Crawley Innovation Centre, Fleming Way, Crawley, England, RH10 9QL. You can contact us about privacy at info@veloxparking.co.uk.

The data we collect

  • Identity and contact details: name, email, phone number and address.
  • Booking details: travel dates and times, airport and terminal, vehicle make, model and registration, and your flight number.
  • Payment details: taken and processed by our booking provider and its payment processor. We do not store your full card details.
  • Vehicle and security images: photographs recording your vehicle’s condition at handover, and CCTV footage at our storage site.
  • Technical data: IP address and device/browser information, collected via cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

How and why we use your data

  • To provide the parking service and manage your booking — to perform our contract with you.
  • To contact you about your booking, including flight monitoring — contract and our legitimate interests.
  • To record your vehicle’s condition and for site security — our legitimate interests.
  • For safety and fraud prevention — our legitimate interests.
  • For marketing — only where you have given consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.

CCTV

Our storage site is monitored by CCTV to protect vehicles and prevent and detect crime, on the basis of our legitimate interests. Footage is held securely for [TO CONFIRM, e.g. 30 days] and then deleted, access is restricted to authorised staff, and we may share footage with the police, insurers or our advisers where lawful.

Who we share it with

We share your data only as needed to deliver the service: our booking provider, ParkFlow [TO CONFIRM: their role as our processor or as an independent controller]; the payment processor that takes your payment; our drivers and operational staff; and insurers, advisers or authorities where we are legally required to. We do not sell your data.

How we keep your data secure

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including restricted staff access, secure systems and a PCI-compliant payment processor for card payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond to any suspected breach.

Marketing

We only send marketing where you have agreed to receive it. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us at info@veloxparking.co.uk. Opting out of marketing does not affect messages we send to manage your booking.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by solely automated means. Our booking form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent fraud and automated abuse.

Children

Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK. In particular, Google reCAPTCHA on our booking form transfers limited data to Google in the United States. [TO CONFIRM: ParkFlow’s processing location.] Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on an appropriate safeguard such as a UK adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Booking and financial records are typically kept for [TO CONFIRM, e.g. six years] to meet tax and accounting requirements; CCTV is kept as set out above; marketing data is kept until you opt out.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these, contact us at info@veloxparking.co.uk. We hope to resolve any concern directly, but you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
